02 · Services

Concrete services, finish by finish.

Every slab is different. We match the finish to how the surface gets used, how it drains and how it will move through a Northern Colorado winter — then build it to hold that finish for years.

Vintage concrete patio finish around a backyard pool by Colorful Concrete LLC in Greeley, Colorado

01

Vintage Concrete

An aged, weathered surface built into new concrete. Vintage finishes soften a fresh pour, suit rustic and historic exteriors, and wear in rather than out.

Custom saw-cut concrete with a clean tile pattern by Colorful Concrete LLC in Greeley, Colorado

02

Custom Saw-Cut Concrete

Precision cuts turn a plain slab into a pattern. We lay out grids, borders and custom geometry, then cut clean lines that also control where the slab relieves stress.

Stained Concrete in Northern Colorado by Colorful Concrete LLC

03

Stained Concrete

Acid and water-based stains soak into the slab instead of sitting on top, so the color reads deep and will not peel or flake off the surface.

Slab-on-Grade Polishing in Northern Colorado by Colorful Concrete LLC

04

Slab-on-Grade Polishing

We grind and polish the slab already in place. No demolition, no new pour, and far less downtime for warehouses, shops and showrooms.

Polished concrete floor ground and densified to a low-sheen finish by Colorful Concrete LLC in Greeley, Colorado

05

Polished Concrete

Mechanically ground and densified into a hard, light-reflecting floor. No coating to strip and reapply, and it lasts as long as the slab underneath it.

06

Grind & Polish Concrete

Restoration for tired slabs. We grind off old coatings, adhesive and surface damage, then polish back up to the sheen level the space calls for.

Epoxy Flake Flooring

A resin base broadcast with vinyl flake and sealed under a clear topcoat. It shrugs off hot tires, road salt and shop chemicals, cleans with a mop, and hides the dust a bare slab shows. Surface prep decides how long it lasts, so that is where we spend the time.

06 · Specialty Finishes

Not every concrete surface should look the same.

Concrete is one material with a lot of possible endings. Choosing the right one is a technical decision before it is an aesthetic one — and getting it wrong is expensive to undo.

Finish options

  1. Polished Concrete
  2. Grind & Polish
  3. Stained Concrete
  4. Vintage Concrete
  5. Stamped Concrete
  6. Custom Saw-Cut Concrete

How we choose

The existing surface
Age, condition and what is already bonded to the slab.
Intended use
Foot traffic, vehicles, forklifts, hot tires, wash-downs.
Desired appearance
Sheen level, color depth, pattern and edge detail.
Durability requirements
How much abrasion, salt and freeze-thaw it has to take.
Project conditions
Interior or exterior, drainage, slope, schedule and access.

Tell us what the surface has to do and where it lives, and we will tell you which finishes are realistic for it — including the ones we would not recommend.

09 · Before & After

The Difference Is in the Preparation.

Forms, rebar and conduit on one day; a finished, load-ready pad on the next. Almost everything that decides how long concrete lasts happens before the truck arrives — and almost everything you notice happens in the last hour of the pour.

Light pole base formwork with rebar cage and conduit set before the pour
After
Finished light pole base pad with anchor bolts set to spec and a clean troweled surface

10 · Why Colorful Concrete

Experience You Can See in the Work.

20+ YearsHands-on concrete experience
Residential + CommercialProjects of every scale
Specialty FinishesBeyond standard flatwork
Northern ColoradoBuilt for NOCO conditions

Most concrete failures start under the slab, not on it. We cut and compact the subgrade, set the base and place reinforcement before a truck is ever scheduled — because a slab that moves will crack no matter how well the surface was finished.

You will know the pour date, who is on site and what happens next. Colorado weather moves schedules; when it moves yours, you hear it from us first rather than finding out from an empty driveway.

Edges, control joints, slope and cure get the same attention as the finish. That is the part you notice in year five instead of week one — water going where it should, joints holding, color still even.

15 · Common Questions

Before you ask for an estimate

The questions homeowners and contractors in Northern Colorado ask us most.

What areas do you serve?

Colorful Concrete is based in Greeley, Colorado and works across Northern Colorado — Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Johnstown, Milliken, Eaton, Ault, Longmont and the towns around them — plus select projects in Southern Wyoming near the Colorado border and the Nebraska Panhandle. We travel to the project site, so no office visit is required.

How much does a concrete driveway or patio cost?

Price depends on square footage, thickness, how much prep and subgrade work the site needs, the finish you choose and how easy the area is to reach. We look at those first and send a written estimate with the work spelled out — no line items left vague and no surprises mid‑pour.

How long before I can use new concrete?

Foot traffic is usually fine after 24 to 48 hours, vehicles after about seven days, and concrete keeps gaining strength for roughly 28 days. Weather changes that schedule, so we give you the timeline for your specific slab before we pour.

Can you refinish concrete I already have?

Often, yes. Grinding and polishing, stains, vintage finishes, saw‑cut patterns and epoxy flake all work on an existing slab when the concrete underneath is sound. We look at the surface, the cracking and the exposure before recommending a finish.

Do you pour concrete in the winter in Colorado?

Yes, with planning. Cold‑weather pours need the right timing, mix and protection, and some work is better scheduled for warmer weeks. Interior floors, polishing and epoxy work continue year round.

Do you take commercial work?

Yes. Slab‑on‑grade, warehouse floors, commercial flatwork, light pole bases, demolition and replacement for general contractors, property managers and facility teams across Northern Colorado.
